When researching funny motivational quotes for success at work, I came across the famous quote of "Never Give Up". Alongside the words was a picture of a little brown mouse in front of a mousetrap filled with cheese.
Hardhat mouse - "Never Quit"...funny motivational quotes will make your day!The "funny" part about the picture is the mouse has a little red crash helmet on his small brown head. This mouse is intently focused on the piece of cheese and is ready to go into battle, if necessary, in order to achieve his goal of eating this delectable morsel.
Hopefully, no harm ever came to this cute little animal while someone was making (and taking) this picture. I also hope he wore out the spring on the mousetrap and was able to secure the food, or better yet, the person taking the picture just gave him the little piece of cheese along with the rest of the block (of cheese).
I personally think that mousetraps like this should only be used on the "people" who hurt little (and big) animals! Just my opinion.
Another funny quote comes from Josh Billings: "Be Like A Postage Stamp. Stick To A Thing Till You Get There".
We have to make a list of our goals and tackle them one by one. We have to focus on one thing until it gets completed, then move on to the next. We have to be able to cross it off of our list.

I once had a teacher in school that for each time a student said "I can't" to some task (school assignment or anything else), the student would have a grade point taken away. This was profound. A student only said the word once or twice before "having" to learn the lesson. What an exceptional teacher. He was extraordinary. He even went further and removed the word from the classroom dictionary (cut it out with a pair of scissors). Imagine our lives if someone told us that we can do anything we set our mind to and that "I can't" wasn't even an option, much less in the dictionary (of my teacher)!
Groucho Marx said one of my favorites: "I find television very educational. Every time someone turns it on, I go in the other room and read a book".
This wonderfully funny man said this many years ago when television was to me, decently entertaining. Now, there seems to be so much sex and violence unnecessarily portrayed on television. We had "scary" shows back a few years, yet there was not the graphic, explicit violence and torture scenes now shown to our children.
